Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Balayage and Babylights?

Balayage is a freehand technique that creates a soft gradient from mid-lengths to tips with a "sun-kissed" effect and low maintenance. Babylights are ultra-fine and delicate highlights that mimic the natural shine of a baby's hair, applied from root to tip for a very natural result.

What are classic highlights?

Classic highlights are the traditional foil technique. They offer greater contrast and luminosity, better cover grey hair and achieve more intense and global blondes.

Do highlights damage hair?

With the products and techniques we use, damage is minimal. We also always recommend repair treatments such as Bae Berry, Sublime 10·31 or K18 after any highlight service to restore the hair fibre, and at home, the K18 leave-in mask for the next 4–6 washes.

Does the highlights service include washing and blow-drying?

No, the highlights service does not include washing and blow-drying. These can be contracted separately.

How do I keep my highlights blonde at home?

With a purple shampoo that neutralises yellow tones. We recommend K18 TripleBright: as well as toning, it removes the hard-water minerals that dull blonde hair. Leave it on for 1 to 3 minutes and alternate it with your usual shampoo. For the first washes after your highlights, also use the K18 leave-in mask.
